I'm currently 16 years old, but I've experienced these temporary blackouts, or whatever they might be ever since I can remember. However, one particular blackout that I experienced today worried me.
I had just stood up, and I went to go up the stairs in my house, but on the way there everything went black. I don't remember that I kept walking, but I ended up about five steps up, and when my vision returned to me I was gripping the side bar for the staircase extremely tightly. I remember that before my vision came back I was extremely aware of the amount of force I was using to grip the bar.
These "blackouts" don't happen every day, just every now and then. They don't last very long - about half a minute to a minute long. Once I was like this for about five minutes, but I believe that's the longest it's ever happened.
I'm worried mostly because I don't want this to be a serious issue that I'm simply not aware of. Thank you for your help.
