Temporary Blindness or Shadows with one eye in Sunlight

A little history:
I am currently have some "MS like" neurological symptoms. My MRI has been negative but I've had scattered abnormalities elsewhere. My clinical positives are abnormal Rhombergs and vision issues. I have had Optic Neuritis symptoms off/on for 8 months when all this began.

My first VEP came back with abnormalities: amplitude reduction and non-distinct waveform in the left eye and a very slight latency on the right. It was considered not enough for diagnosis of optic neuritis but my new Neuro felt the wavesforms were all over the place so she had a repeat VEP done. I had that yesterday.

The second VEP came back with the same abnormalities except they were reversed. I do not have the actual test results but she said that the waveform on the left was a good waveform. The waveform on the right was not distinct.  She asked in both tests if I was seeing the dot with the eyes that aren't testing right.  I was. Both eyes are symptomatic but I'd most definitely say my right eye is worse. Again, I'm not sure of the actual results so I'm not sure if it was positive for optic neuritis.

Issue:
My concern is that I have had three episodes in the last couple days, when in the sun, that the vision of the eye facing the sun has shaded my surroundings to near blindness. Anything seen in the right eye becomes SO dark I can't make out a persons face or skin tone.  These are ocurring under direct sunlight and in one eye. The other eye seems to be seeing normal saturation.

I live in the PNW so our Summer is just starting to kick in- these are the first days I've really been exposed to heat and sun consistently. I had my Mom check my pupil dilation but she said it appeared normal. I am also experiencing changes in color perception. If I use one at a time, each eye sees different shades like I'm watching two different TV screens. It seems the colors most affected by this are green, skin tones (beige and browns) and pinks/reds.  This also seems to be impacted by the sunlight more but the blindness resolved pretty quickly as soon as I got out of the sun.

Has anyone experienced this? I am experiencing an increase in symptoms with heat but I'm not sure this is related to that. It seems more related to the amount of sun light let in and it created heavy shading instead of brightness instead. Idea's? I haven't called me doctor as I think it's related to everything going on. I have an appointment with her next Monday the 18th anyway to go over my recent orbit enhancing MRI (the report says it's normal) so thought I'd wait it out.

It turns out that the waveforms throughout both eyes are distorted. There isn't any latency apparent. I'm not sure what to think.
