Tingling bone-like bump in finger joint?

I have this odd bump in the first joint of my middle finger that feels like a bone. It's not visible from the outside but if I move my other finger on it I can feel it. Not only that, but if I put pressure on the bump/area it causes a tingling sensation only in that finger tip. If I push on it with my thumb it just feels like a more knobby knuckle (on only the right side) however  even that little pressure tingles my finger tip. I noticed it after I had been playing an ungodly amount of video games.. the next day i realized, that is where I put most my pressure because when i attempted to play I continuously felt the tingles while holding the controller in my natural position. Perhaps that's the cause, or maybe coincidence? It's rather irritating and feels like I hit my funny bone (but in my finger) every time whenever I exert even a little pressure.

Update: Other than tingles, it has progressed into a more numb-like feeling every time it's pushed on. Opening doors, picking things up, putting weight on my hands all affect it.
