Tingling with spinal movement

Healthy male, mid-twenties

Hello everyone,

I have had intense burning just to the left of S1 which also causes every form of painful and bothersome neuropathy to radiate into legs (worse on left)  Had this for 5 years and it's been getting worse.  For past year, lumbar to head has tingling and pins and needles which radiate into torso, face, arms, and hands, most everywhere bilaterally and almost symmetrically. This gets worse with spinal movement.  MRI brain to pelvis normal. No MS lesions or herniations, etc. Blood levels normal, neg for lyme.  Can anyone shed some light on this from either knowledge or personal experience? Thanks!

Matt

Yeah, neurological problems are very tricky and I agree that Doctors aren't always the miracle workers many think they are. They're basically mechanics for the human body, a machine millions of times more complex than a harrier jet, so I guess we can't expect it really.  Luckily, the body has a great ability to heal itself and often times just needs some lifestyle, nutritional, mental help to do what it needs to do. Hopefully we'll both find ways to get back to health!! Remember to do a follow up post when things are on the up and up someday! Best wishes

I wish I could help. I'm a 49 year old female. Have been having similar problems, for the last 6 years. My burning is in one side of my back. Like some one is putting out a lit cigar. nerve tingling and zingers, up and down my body and in my spine. I also have extreme  eye pain that comes and goes, with double vision. other symptoms to. 3 clean MRI's no DR want to help or look any farther. Have lost complete trust in the medical field. good luck.

Wow, noone seems to have anything to offer me in terms of advice? I posted before with the only response being to take ibuprofin and avoid activity. Nobody has seen this before??
