My level was 314. Although the reference range for Vit B12 is 200-1100, it has been reported that between 5 and 10% of patients with values between 200 and 400 may experience neuropsychiatric and hematologic abnormalities due to occult Vit B12 defeciency. The deficiency can cause a multitude of nerve symptoms-google it. You will probably need shots for life to maintain a healthy level. I am on sublingual drops and my level went to > 1000, so I take drops 3x a week now.

I got this info. from copies of my lab report and my Dr.
