What are these dents on top of my head??? Please help!!!
Firstly, I am a 23 year old young woman and I am very nervous. I recently went for the big chop and shaved my head due to a rightful cause. Upon shaving my hair we noticed an irregular mishaping of my skull. There are dents and “soft spots” so deep and large it has caused and irregualr point shape to the top of my skull. I am very worried and concerned about this. I even chose to wear a wig because of the severity of my sunken in skull. Is there anyone who can help my diagnose what might be the cause of my irregular shaped skull ?? Please and thank you.
Cutis verticis gyrata is what my Dermo called it, as I 2 have these..

Thank you so much! After looking it up that’s exactly what my problem is! If only doctors knew what causes this disease.
They don't know a whole lot about it..so...we are on our own...:)
