About 3 months ago, I started to have a huge pain which seems to be either muscle cramps or nerve problem. When I stand, from being in bed or sitting a long time, I have a strong pain in my right leg at the top, just under my buttocks. It is on the inside of the leg. It hits me HARD! so that I fall back down on the bed or chair. I went to my regular doctor (an internist) who gave me a muscle relaxant but in a way it felt like a nerve shock. The muscle spasm has helped somewhat, but not completely cured my problem. Recently when I first stand, in addition to the muscle ot nerve pain, I experience tingling down my leg, from the top to my ankle. It feels like a crawling tingling.
