What is mild scattered foci?
I recently had an MRI which showed " "There are mild scattered foci of increased T2 signal throughout the periventricular and subcortical white matter. These are non-specific." I was ordered the MRI for ear ringing, ear pain, temple tenderness. Trying to rule out TMJ. What is this MILD SCATTERED FOCI mean? I am a 47 year old non-smoker.
