What is the treatment for Small Vessel Ischemic Disease (SVD) ?

I am a young 70 yo female with a history of concussion 2015. Having feeling of pressure in occipital area of my head for approx. 6 months. This occurs when I lay on my back or rest my head in the recliner putting pressure in that area and often interferes with sleep. I have no history of elevated B/P or migraines.  Recent MRI without contrast revealed SVD with several punctate areas in the periventricular and subcortical white matter. My GP seems to think this is a normal progression for my age. I am awaiting an appointment with neuro but would like to know if and how this can be treated.  Thank you.
