What seems to be the cause of my skin pain? please help me find direction!

My skin hurts from the slightest touch.  When its bad; my shirt rubbing my stomach will cause pain, walking will cause pain because of the jiggling, putting my arms against my sides, and anything where my skin folds hurts. I get headaches very regularly, but i have not notice a link between my headaches and my pain. I have noticed some things trigger it. The pain is most notably triggered by alcohol and it seems to trigger the worst pain. I get the pain without this trigger but its rarely severe enough to complain about. Some areas hurt worse than others and depending of how servere the pain is that day depends how how large of area is affected. My pain covers a large portion of my body: chest, stomach, sides , back(except over the spine), shoulders, back of neck, back of head, under arms, upper arms, and inner thighs. I get this pain on my forehead and the small area of scalp above my forehead after washing my hair only. This pain seems more sensative to tempature change and moving air than touch and hurts for a much shorter time frame. I still function normally. I go to work and have a happy relationship. It gives me anxiety at work in fear someone will touch me and though she is very understanding it also gives me anxiety telling her today you cant touch me. I know the anxiety is not a side affect of what is going on. It is just something ive developed since I started dealing with this.

I have similar symptoms only not as bad. I have pain under my right arm area around my right breast, nothing else. It hurts to wear a bra or for clothes to brush up against my skin. I have no clue what is causing the problem as it has only been recently that this started. I had some blisters on my butt cheek. The doctor says it is HSV-2 which I struggle to believe, but the culture supposedly said that. It has occurred several times now, but now I have this allodynia symptoms. I have been investigating things online looking for answers as I feel as though my doctor is NO help. He says that there is no link between this and my "herpes" as well as no link to the "right-sided" pain I have with my knee joint either. Everything happening to me is "right-sided." That is too strange in my opinion. I live in a rural area and I have very limited medical help to look to here. It is extremely frustrating to live with pain and not know when it might stop or how it will stop.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there. This condition is called allodynia which can be mechanical or thermal. Mechanical can be static, which is pain in response to light touch and pressure. This could be dynamic which is pain in response to brushing.  Thermal allodynia which is pain from normally mild skin temperatures. Allodynia is seen usually in neuropathies, complex regional pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, post herpetic neuralgia, and migraine. You need to consult a neurologist at the earliest for a detailed examination. Hope this helps and treatment would be accordingly. Take care
