I'm 26 years old, and since around 19, I've had these crazy weird muscle spasms that happen in my feet, and in my hands/arms. I have no clue why they've been happening for so long. What happens is, I'll start getting up to walk, or I'm just moving my feet in general, and sometimes(most of the time) once the spasm starts, my toes start to curl up, and my hand starts to curl up all weird, and my arm moves kinda whenever it wants to go. Sometimes it's just in one foot/arm at a time, sometimes it's both feet and arms at the same time. I usually just try and stop what I'm doing, but sometimes I can move my feet in a way to prevent these spasms from happening. They happen constantly throughout the day. It's hard to drive without them happening. They usually happen for about 5-10 seconds, and then go away. But that doesn't mean it won't happen again in 10 seconds. I play in a band, and since we're about to start playing shows, I really need to get this taken care of asap. I have an appointment with a local neurologist but they can't get me in until June. So until then, I'm still in the dark. Any sort of advice would be great and appreciated.
