arms and legs numbness

Hi, I'm 30 years old and for about a year have been experiencing numbmness in my arms and legs while laying down.  It was off and on so I just figured I had poor circulation. Started taking a vitimin for circulation.  Nothing changed.  But in the last week it has gotten bad.  More so in my arms but also in my legs.  I have an appointment to have an emg done in two days.   Any advice would be great or anything I should ask my doc?
Thanks

Definitely get an MRI, that should point you in the right direction.

I live in Louisiana!!!  I will def check out the forums on Fibromyalgia.  I have read about it a little and don't have many of the other symptoms but you never know.  Hopefully my EMG will shed some light!
Thank you so much

I have not had an MRI yet but this will be my next step.  I have been having problems with my inner hips also they ache when I stand on one or the other and forget about sitting indian style.  I just recently got steroid injections in them and it hleped but I can still feel the ache a little.  Combined with the numbness does this ring any bells?
thanks

I too have numbness, but not just when lying down....I also had the EMG...very uncomfortable test......did u have an MRI?...u could have bulging disks, a pinched nerve....the EMG will detect if u have an obstruction.....an MRI will help with the disks...

Good luck
