Hello Dear,
Cerebral white matter changes are frequently observed on CT and MRI scans of elderly individuals, particularly in patients with vascular risk factors, cerebrovascular diseases, and cognitive and motor impairment. These lesions are seen as bilateral, patchy, or diffuse areas of hypodensity on CTor hyperintensities on T2-weighted MRI scans involving the periventricular and centrum semiovale white matterPlease be kind enough to mention her symptoms to enable me to answer your questions precisely.

The scans earlier say Patchy  perventricular Hypodensity  in sub-cortical white matter consistent with chronic microangiopathic ischemic disease  But no new areas noted . no interval change.  she functions normally...She has high blood pressure which she takes novasc and triamterine.

Hello dear,
Depressed mood, anhedonia, and fatigue, followed by anergia, anxiety, insomnia, decreased concentration, and poor appetite are related to chronic microangiopathic ischemic disease which has similar pathology as cerebral infarction. .Her treatment should be continued with anti psychotics.
