Hi Sandra. It sounds as if you may have BMS - Burning Mouth Syndrome. Three of the symptoms which you describe are spot-on with this dreadful disease. I know, because I have it. I also know that Doctors have no cure. I empathize with you. I know it hurts like hell!
I notice you posted your question back in Aug. Maybe you have had some other responses by now.
I just found this place.
I truly wish you well.
With a hug, Sandra.
PS Yes, my first name is the same as yours.

Hi,
Burning mouth syndrome can be a frustrating condition. Here are some tips hope they make you feel better.
Sip water frequently.
Suck on ice chips.
Avoid irritating substances like hot, spicy foods; mouthwashes that contain alcohol; and products high in acid, like citrus fruits and juices.
Chew sugarless gum.
Brush your teeth/dentures with baking soda and water.
Avoid alcohol and tobacco products.
