I saw an ob/gyn.... which considering your daughters age may be a good idea....
They were concerned about endemetriosis - has she had an ultrasound to check for that?
In my case they didnt find it, and gave me the lapriscopy to see if they saw anything there - and were surprised to find the adhesions - basically, they thought mine was anxiety & not as bad as I claimed until they got a look-see.
God Bless!

Hi
No changes when she eats or drinks, no other symptoms in bowel or other problems.
Just constant stomach aches. Nothing showed up in the xray, ctscan or other tests, except for barrett's, which would not cause such constant stomach pain.
The dr's think its anxiety, but I am just not sure.
what kind of Dr. did you go to??
Can you give us more details? Any changes when she eats or drinks? Does that affect her pain? Any bowel or urination problems?
Here is what happened to me, just in case it helps.
I had severe abdominal & pelvic area pain. I saw my ob/gyn & family doctor. Ultrasound & Xray showed nothing, no endemetriosis was found & they could find no cause for my pains. They were sharp, extremely painful.
It hurt when I ate - felt like a chain being pulled through my intestines. I was constipated & had frequent urination.
After some begging on my part for them to DO something about my pain (they seemed to doubt I was really in as much as I said I was just because they could find nothing) --- so they did a Lapriscopy.
I had adhesions throughout my abdomen. They were twisting my bladder, kidney, intestines, etc - thus the pain, especially when I ate.
I'd never had surgery or anything to cause these adhesions, they were just there. I was told they would most likely eventually grow back.
Hope you find some help for your daughter.
God Bless!
Amy
