Why is my CK levels mildly high after CK spike?

After an episode 6 months ago with my CK levels being around 600 U/L, it is now fluctuating at around 291 U/L.When it was in the 600 my symptoms where really bad including sever muscle cramps, nausea, itching, fatigue. It is not as bad now but I am still experiencing symptoms. Occasionally it will go up to 400 U/L for whatever reason, but then return to the 200.

Why is this happening?
