Is there anyone know how fast this can hit you--I was 36 diganosed and still tryimg to figure it all out-

I have tried over 70 meds--my left shoulder burns like I have a fire touch on me,,

The headpain is out of this world


I have adrenal disorder that comes with that--so when I take stimulants to stay awake, my heart beats very fast and I have to take xanax to calm it down andI can only get 12 imitrex a month on ins plan-welfare and I have to borrow money to get me enough to get me through the rest of the month and its expensive 300 dollars--who has that kind of money--

I get so pissed, I worked in pharmacy asa tech-for 20years and I see it getting worse--

and court2 chiari has many times been misdx'd as fibro, but it is possible to have both.
The best thing to do is always get tested and rule all possibilities out so u know what u do have.

I was diagnosed with fibromylgia and osteoarthritis 16 years ago because they couldn't figure out anything else.  after all this time, two years ago I found out I have a tethered spinal cord and not fibromylgia.   A couple Doc's told me that fibromyalgia is an easy pool to be thrown in if they don't know what is causing your pain. If you aren't satisfied with fibromyalgia as diagnosis keep going to different dr's and keep searching.  Believe my after 16 years it's great hearing the right diagnosis even if it's not a good one. If you do have fibromylgia try the diet- no meat.  Good Luck

Hi....I am so sorry u r is so much discomfort.

Have u had all the tests to rule out other conditions like lupus, MS and chiari?

I agree with the cost of meds and even the dr visits.....plus no one keeps track of interactions.

May I suggest u join the fibro forum here on MedHelp the members there may be able to relate and share their fibro experiences with u.The meds disscussing has gone on in there as well.
