hand not moving!!

Hello my father's hand wasn't moving from below the elbow last night. Today he can move his hand with slight restrictions. He is unable to hold or grab things from his finger. He is on bed because of diabeties and has been undergoing treatment.has been treated for diabetic ulcer of the foot gallbaldder and takes eptoin regularly because of epilepsy caused due to an accident that happened long time back My home is away from his. So need advice urgently. thanks

I'm glad you took my suggestion and he got the MRI before things got worse.  He will need your support, but make sure you take care of yourself as well.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello, thanks for the reply . I thought noone will answer my question here. He got an MRI done. Has a fresh blood clot how it is formed we have no answer to this Doctor is treating the clot.he has given him few injections and medicine which he has to continue for some time.

He needs to go to the ER to make sure he doesn't have something serious going on like a stroke.  If you do not live nearby, then call an ambulance.  You can also let his doctor know, but he/she most likely will not have the equipment needed to see if your father had a stroke or not (be able to do the testing like an MRI or CT scan).
