help

i fell and broke my left knee cap and a week after the mobilizer came off my left leg started to get numb. it progressed to numb hands numb feet , shock sensations down both arms and legs until finally i got an epideral but i cannot walk without staggering and my left leg is losing mucle and is thinner than the right. my mri said i have annular bulging at l3-l4 and l4-l5. what does this mean?

You need to consult a NS like yesterday and let him/her sort this out.  This isn't good at all and you shouldn't wait.

first i was going to an orthopedic dr where he set up the epideral. i then still was off balance walking so i went to a neuroloigist who said i could have had a stroke but i had no symptoms. the impression of my back mri is--degenerative disc disease and facet arthosis at l3-l4 and l4- l5. at l3-l4there is a mild loss of spacewith diffuse annular bulge more prominent towards the left. i am not in any pain now since epideral but i cannot walk more than a few feet without staggeringand my right leg is very weak and losing muscle to the point it is smaller than the left.
