leg paralysis and bladder retention?

I have been under investigation for a while now and things are getting worse

All started back nov 07 when i had UTI after UTI then BAM! bladder retention been self cathing ever since ..had urodynamics which show my bladder was not contracting at all? was told maybe neurological probelm (no signal from brain) ??

Summer 08 i was getting blur vision and faint feeling  but all was ok put it down to my bp ?
spasms and cramps in right leg and arm was given baclofen which helped .
Was refered to a neurologist.

Then this is when things got worse ..
My right foot went numb and into total spasticity .. my right foot was turned in and would shake like mad .
This recovered after 8 weeks.

Had MRI upper spins and brain = all clear ?

spasms cramps got worse

November 08..
leg paralysis .. My leg was numb to knee dragging foot . wheelchair bound.

Had Lumbar puncture suspected MS.. results all clear ??

Had severe Lumbar headache and bells palsy due to all the stress (not nice)

Saw neuro 24th Feb
Explained not sure whats happening but stroke and tumour have been ruled out ..
Want me to have MRI lower spine???

I dont know what to do from here? Im not sure its MS now due to test results .. i know its not stroke/tumour thank god!
I was told on last few appointments that they would not give me lower spine MRI due to weakness in right arm but now they are saying they think its my lower spine?? Im sooo confused ? My main problems are my bladder and leg paralysis so it just might be lower spine but why am i getting upper body symptoms? Its all a bit upsetting .. My physio thinks that with a leg brace i may be able to learn to walk again so thats great news but urodynamics proved my bladder will never contract so will always self cath.. (this aint nice but i can cope with that)

Arghhh!!! why cant they find nothing? Why do they seem so clueless? maybe im under the wrong care?
So scared ..

Please help

Hi rachy 1,
it was so sad to red all about you. But you must trust your treating  doctor.
And if , in case, you have lost faith in your doctor, you need to meet a second neurologist/neuro-surgeon.
MRI is a must and i think, do a screening for the whole spine. Screening will cut down the cost factor as well as give a good report of the spine.
Dont get impatient....... Trust is the main key,
and fell free to keep me informed,

A clean MRI on brain and upper spine leaves....lower spine.
A little research of my own points to a pinched nerve.

Get comfortable, take a mini course on the nerve system, and compare your symptoms to shed some light on your problem. I know you are patient and will be open to this!
