loss of feeling in skin, 'burning cold' hands

my partner had a tingling sensation that started at her feet and went up by degrees to her head and back down to her feet. she lost all feeling in her skin. 2 MRIs, 1 at Shand's in Gainesville, FL, show no indication of ms. her hands get freezing cold even on hot days. has a problem holding things [naturally, since she can't feel them].

Hello.

These are symptoms suggestive of peripheral neuropathy. She should rule out diabetes and any other illness.

A normal MRI does not rule out MS. She will also need CSF examination by LP if MS is to be ruled out.

She should also think of possible autoimmune disorder. Has she visited any neurologist for this?

Regards
