low cerebellum

I have had a contrast CT done that showed something of a low cerebellum. They have scheduled me for a contrast MRI to show the reason for this. I have intense pain in my lower head/back of neck..I have been dealing with these  intense headaches and pain for around a year now..sometimes it is unbearable and other time I just get use to dealing with it.. What could this mean?

Hi,
Posterior headache and neck pain with increasing severity may be due to cerebellar tumor(eg-glioma),blood vessels abnormality like aneurysm of vertebral or basilar artery, complete loss of blood supply to some part of cerebellum or upper cervical vertebral diseases.MRI is the ideal investigation in your case.Till that you can use tab paracetamol 500 mg ,maximum 6 times a day.
Regards,
