I get vertigo if I take more than one hit. this will happen every time if I over do it. I smoke every day so it's nothing new. why does this happen???
i find it hard to beleive that anxiety would give me vertigo and a dizzy feeling for 3 months, if it was anxiety, then almost everybody i know would have the same symptoms i have. ps. my last panic attack was 2 and a half months ago.
thanks anyway!!
Hi,
These symptoms could be due to panic attacks which somehow got triggered by marijuana use. Your symptoms are due to anxiety; I would suggest you to some breathing exercises every day. Paper bag rebreathing and mild anxiolytics like Alprazolam will also help.
well, before getting really dizzy ( the day right ater i did the marijuana ) i stated getting random panic attacks, and i'd just be freaked out for no reason. and till today i kind of have alittle crazy thoughts like for example i'd be all dizzy and i'd look at an object.. and it would be alittle blurry, so i'd ask myself if i were craazy, or if it was actually moving but somethings wrong with my head, and eventually 'd end up breaking down.
headaches .. not really, but i am dizzy till today .. alot. my blood pressue usually is fine, but for a month or 2 after doing marijuana my heart wuld be racing up to 115 and i'd be in bed watching tv, so my doctor put me on tenormin 50 but i'd take 25 because i never trust those idiots. and then my other doctor put me on stugeron or something for my dizzyness. yeah that one almost got me halucinating.
at the time, i would have headaches, infrequent ones but i still got them, which is odd because i usually don't get headaches. i do not get them anymore though.
honestly i do not know what to do. but from what i know, marijuana is out of your system, in 4-6 weeks max. this shouldn't be happening.
thank you again!
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Marijuana use can cause dizziness and vertigo. However I am not sure if the effect of one time use would last so long.
Since inner ear causes have already been ruled out, other causes like anxiety, medications, low BP, low blood sugar, high BP, neurological causes like stroke, MS and fibromyalgia. In some cases of vertigo no cause can be found. It is important that you get a complete neurological exam done.
Do you have any other symptoms apart from vertigo like headache?
