middle of the head pain after a TIA

Hi,  I have had middle of the head pain for 3 days now.  I had a TIA on 5/13/09, following a lot of stress and problemss in my life.  
    I dont understand these headaches or head pains as now I take Amlodipine to help my cronic small vein problem in my brain.  I am wondering if you could tell me any more information on this.

   I do have to say though, on the day I started out to go grocery shopping, and was hit in the middle of my head so hard with a pain that was like no headache, at the onset of the TIA, it was the same kind of pain, but is much lesser...
it comes and goes, now.  

   I am always worried that I may get another TIA, or worse and was told, by a nurse, that the second TIA will half kill my brain, and the third will be death.  Today is my birthday, and I am 62.

Hi, my name is Gaynor, I had a second heart attack on 29/3/ this year,went into my town hospital,then was transferred to a heart hospital two days later,had an angiagram on the Thursday,after it I went back to a room where I developed pain that covered the left side of my head,it got so bad that it took over me completely, the next thing I am in another hospital on a stroke ward,I could hear but couldn't respond, It was a living nightmare, I had missed a day,I was then told that I had had 3 TIA,s lasting 24 hours, I still feel shell shocked by it all,no one to talk to,and feel that my personality has changed,I am so sad,all I do now is worry, so pleased to find this site

Hi,
There are chances of repeated TIAs and Strokes. Please go for a CT scan immediately to know the cause of headache. It may be a blood clot. Please consult a cardiologist and neurologist as soon as possible to go through all the investigations like  Computerized tomography(CT scan), MRI scan, MRA (magnetic resonance angiogram), Computerized tomography with angiography, Conventional angiogram, Carotid Doppler ultrasound, Heart tests and Blood tests to detect inflammation of the arteries. Please take treatment to avoid stroke according to your risk factors. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
