Hi Sir

my symptoms are now

muscle twitches all over my body,
involuntary muscle jerks,
twitching  at left and right side of head ,
muscle spasms in my throat,
ear pressure.
getting pain at right and left corner of temples( this pain will come and go in fraction of seconds), getting the pain in ear bones and cheek bone,
and i am getting the numbness in hands and in legs.

these symptoms indicate ALS disease? OR this is BFS ?

OR how can we rule out the ALS ?  shall i go for EMG test?

please suggest me sir, every day passing very very hard . i am unable to digest with these symptoms .

Hi Sir

i dont have the BP, checked many times and not getting nausea/vomiting. i am getting the twiches whole body including head.
but i talked one of the patient who is suffering from BFS , she used the calcium and Megnicium capsules ,after two weeks her probem got solved.
is this due to the Megnicium defficiency in our body? shall i go for the Megnicium capsules with doctor priscription . plesae suggest me on this?

Hello.

Please try to find out the factors that bring on your headache. Is it a lack of adequate water intake throughout the day? Is it stress and anxiety? And do not be so anxious about what you might have. Let me know if you have associated nausea/vomiting. Check your blood pressure.

Hello.

Benign Fasciculation syndrome is almost always associated with a lot of anxiety. There are concerns about some serious illness like ALS. The more you are anxious, the more you perceive the symptoms.

The cause of BFS is not known. This is an extract from wikipedia about BFS. "...Mitsikostas et al found that fasciculations "were slightly correlated to the body weight and height and to the anxiety level" in normal subjects. Another factor that seems to be common in many cases is a history of regular strenuous exercise...".

Let me know about the test results.

Hello Ayub.

I remember we had a conversation some time back.

Have you done the routine blood work? Especially, look for blood sugar. I am not sure if you have diabetes, but diabetic neuropathy can present with peripheral numbness.

There is a condition called as benign fasciculation syndrome. Numbness is not a very common feature in this syndrome, but the whole body twitching is.

More importantly, I would suggest you to consult a neurologist in your area for these symptoms. We have to find out why you have the numbness.
