nerve pain

my mon was in a car accident a few years ago, at the time her shoulder was dislocated - when they put it back in
place they damaged the brachial plexus nerves. She now has very little use of her arm and hand (hand almost claw-like) - but not a day goes by that she doesn't have severe pain in that arm.  The doctors around here tell her there is
nothing they can do - no pain killers seem to help.   She normally is not a person to complain about pain.  Also she
doesn't use the meds  only Vicodin when she can't stand it any longer. The doctors have tried, percocet, neurontin
lyrica, duragesic patch. Is there anything she can do. Surgical intervention?  My mom is 70 years old.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any advice would be helpful

Came to this site via google and your mother's situation is the same as my husbands.  A relocation of the shoulder following a fall.

At this time he his taking viconden and neruontin with some abatement of the pain, but certainly not pain-free.

If you find treatments that are useful, please post them
