numb spot on shoulder blade for years

When I was younger, 8 or 9, I went to the drs complaining over extreme shoulder pain. It was only in a spot as big as a quarter, but it was excruciating. The spot went numb. I have some feeling in it, but there is a definite difference from that spot to the surrounding areas. That's on my left blade. Now, almost 20 years later, I'm having pains similar to what I had back then, but on the right blade, almost the same spot. I notice it more right when I wake up, and it lasts almost the entire day. I haven't had this problem before, but for about the past month it's very noticeable. Im also 17 weeks pregnant, I know some shoulder pain must be covered under that reason, but I almost sense a coincidence. Any suggestions??
