Hi,
The most common cause of numbness in fingers while sleeping is Carpal tunnel syndrome. The first symptom of CTS that people usually notice is that their hand and fingers become numb and have a tingling sensation while sleeping causing them to wake up frequently during the night. Most people do not even realize that this is a symptom of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and attribute the numb feeling to sleeping on their hands in an awkward position, arising from poor blood circulation. Please consult a neurologist and go for MRI of the hand to confirm the diagnosis and go for treatment. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
