numbness on entire left side 1 1/2 yrs

I'm 47 yr old female.  about 1 1/2 yrs ago my entire left side, including my face went partially numb, its was like the left side of my body was tingling and heavy.  I have had numbness in my arm or leg from back problems but one or the other not the entire left side before.  I started having chest pains and shortness of breath.  extremely fluctuating blood pressure, going so low I would pass out.  I have always been active, I have a teenager who is in sports and we are always going somewhere.  I have had MRI,EKG,EEG, CT, Xrays, blood work up ( they have checked everything), Heart Catheterization, I do have obstructive sleep apnea and use a cpap machine since January.  I am always tired, to the point of falling asleep at my desk at work.  I can't go down in my basement without losing by breath.  just taking a shower is exhausting.  I now have chest pains that start in the center of my chest and radiate into my shoulder and down my left arm.  I had  a holter monitor and I was referred back to cardiologist.  my blood pressure is normal but my pulse races.  I now have a new issue with my face, it started having spasms with my lips and check in the last two days.  I have muscle spasms everywhere else all the time but the face is a new one.  my lips get a tingling feeling and the start to twitch. its very annoying.  I have been to a spinal specialist and he referred me to neurology, because of extreme overactive reflexes and the numbness is not from any of my back issues.  neurology so far, has found nothing.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. the doctors so far have already ruled out panic attacks, which was the first thought.  I am extremely frustrated and don't know what else to do.

Welcome to my world. My sons and I have this same issue. They have sent us to all sorts of specialists, including geneticists. They can't figure it out either.
Geneticist thinks it could be a rare form of diabetes combined muscular dystrophy.
Good luck to all of us!
