Does it affect both hands? Any other symptoms? The pain and numbness on your fingers are non-specific symptoms and could be due to a number of conditions such as neuropathy, diabetes, arthritis, raynaud's disease, cervical spondylisis, etc.  Consult a physician at the earliest possible time.
