Hello dear,
Is your husband hypertensive? You should monitor his blood pressure levela regularly ,was there any associated weakness? You should consult a neurologist and get  MRI done as there could be several causes TIA,migraine, stroke.degenerative spine changes, neuropathy, nerve compression etc.You should go for a evaluation and get the diagnosis confirmed.

I believe it could be associated with a migraine. I'm a 28 year old female. I just experienced blurred/spotted vision, followed by numbness in left hand, immediately followed by numbness on my lip and nose (left side), then was pounded with an awful headache. Miserable, but I think that could be it.
