Hi there. Visual hallucinations are visual sensations which are distorted or outright false occurring with no stimulus to explain the visions. Some types vision is just distorted. One may see halos, streaks of colors, artifacts of vision that do not exist. These are seen with recreational and prescription drugs or high fever. stress, fatigue, mental illness can also cause these along with neurological conditions, medications and eye conditions. it could be due to impingement on your optic nerve which can be treated surgically to free the nerve and restore vision. Drugs responsible can be changes. ophthalmoplegic or ocular migraines lateralizing pain is accompanied by nausea, vomiting and diplopia. Visual disturbances are common and can include visual hallucinations like sparks, light flashes, zigzags of light or visual field defects. with brain tumors you may have headaches, nausea or vomiting, problems in balancing or walking, speech, vision or hearing changes, muscle jerking or twitching and numbness and tingling in arms and legs. Consult your neurologist on the possible causes and a more detailed examination. Take care.
That's good that there's nothing else....but keep a journal of anything that's out of the ordinary such as numbness, tingling, ear buzzing, etc...I know how it feels when anxiety kicks in...it's almost contolling. Keep us updated and good luck!
No there was Nothing else different, Now my anxiety is out of the roof!
If that's the only symptom, most likely it's not a tumor. Was there anything else different?
