pain in the roof of my mouth

i took out my wisdom teeth about a year ago and ever since that ive been in pain all over my head ,jaw and face ,i went to a jaw specialist and he said i had tmj and gave me a splint to wear and advised me to eat soft foods.all the tmj pain is gone but i have a pain in the roof of my mouth which doesnt seem to go away, it gets worse  when i close my mouth and pains even more.i had fall off a jet ski last year about 3 weeks after my wisdom teeth surgery and i dont know if my roof of my mouth is broken?in the roof of my mouth there is like two thin bones in the middle and it seems like my right one feels bigger(swollen i think). Is this strange,do you think anything is broken?i also have pains in my shoulder when i sit up for too long but this only had happen to me after i took out my wisdom teeth.i am 18 years and i need to start back school pls write back to me as soon as possible

Hello.

he shoulder pain may not be related to the removal of the teeth. Can you recall any injury to the shoulder? Did you have the pains in shoulder after you had the fall?

Have you followed up with your dental surgeon after the pains have started? There may be an infective focus, and probably abscess formation. A fracture would have been a lot more unbearable. I would suggest you consult your dental surgeon soon. You will probably need to get an X ray of the paranasal sinuses.

You stated you had a root canal and EVER SINCE? did you go back to the ORAL SURGEON AND ASK HIM TO DO A SPECIAL XRAY on the same area to make sure he got the WHOLE ROOT? you could have radiating pain from that, or in fact have another tooth about to go on the spitz to a newer root canal. They have xrays where they inject a dye into the root of the tooth and the Dentist can look for the health of the tooth. I do recall having neck and shoulder pain with my inflammed root. Perhaps you have an infection in the gum or under the incision that is radiating. Id suggest going back to your oral surgeon and having them recheck the matter , if he did it wrong they are respsonsible so it wont cost additional to redo it. good luck

Hello.

The shoulder pain has to be addressed with the help of an orthopedic surgeon. Let him examine you. It may be something which needs to be treated.

An infective focus is a place where micro-organisms can accumulate and spread to other parts of the body. The area where the tooth was removed from can act as a focus.

Hello.

You will have to see an ENT specialist for the X ray. He may also help you with the testing of the swelling. Your blood pressure is normal. Hence, there are no chances of excess blood flow from the site of the tooth removal.
