pins and needles...

I had a cup of coffee on an empty stomach, went to the gym, worked out and left in a hurry and forgot to drink some water... got in the car and suddenly felt lighheaded and my fingers started to feel like pins and needles. my hand seized up and I couldn't open them... i went straigt to the hospital, in there, my legs felt the same way and my calfs cramped up, the cramps reached my stomach area and my ear lobes also felt like pins and needles... they told me I was having a panic attack and i hyperventilated which caused the pins and needle feeling.... can having caffeine on an empty stomach trigger such an attack? my blood work came back good, my heart rate was good, ekg good my blood pressure was slightly elevated but still normal... this was last Thursday... well Sat. I had coffee again on an empty stomach, got light headed an hour later and again had the same thing happen! is it a panic attack?  back in dec. I had a parathyroid gland removed cause i had an adonoma... my calcium levels are back to normal and so is my vit D and PHT numbers all great! but.... I noticed that ever since I had this removed which by the way gave me osteoporosis... the Dr. told me to start on calcium right away so that I don't end up with the opposite having a low calium level. he said if i feel like i have pins and needles in my fingers is because my bones are hungry for calcium and could make my levels in my blood lower so i needed to keep taking the calcium, well, i stopped about a month ago and  last week, I stopped at  highmark and used the blood pressure machine and the arm band cut off my circulation so bad, that my hand got pins and needles to bad it scared me, this never happened before! anyhow, after I got home from the hospital i still had pins and needles and decided to take 4- 500mg of calcium and guess what my tingling went away! could the caffeine affect me in such a way that caused me to feel bad and feel like a panic attack due to my bones needing more calcium. not sure if that makes sense to you but, after my surgery, dr. said if you still feel pins and needles take one to two more calcium tablets... interesting  huh, well, I am Never having coffee on an empty stomach again... and I will continue to take calcium for a while longer.... tell me what you think?

For 3 months now I have had either GBS or MS symptoms. My walking is also affected and I can not run. It started during hunting season in MN when I spent a great deal of time in the woods. I had many mosquito bites, several deer tick bites, stung twice, spider bites. Also during same time span I was exposed to many dangerous molds due to work at the time. One day while hunting I became exhausted and extremely fatigued. Then came the numbness and tingling.Tested negative for lyme, and other stuff. My days are a struggle due to tingling, numbness, fatigue. One of the first symptoms I experienced was the tap water felt unusually cold on my hands and still does. Well I start each day with coffee on an empty stomach and sometimes I feel that this worsens my symptoms yet I still drink it. I'm completely discouraged to get further medical tests because I am draining my medical account, especially after reading these posts.
