Hello.
You have just now given me one more symptom of BFS, that is , a worry about ALS or MS. Please relax. The fasciculations of BFS are real contractions of muscle fibers. They can give rise to pain.
In the next few days, try to de-stress yourself. Take some mild anti-anxiety medication if you feel the need.
Regards

Hello.
This could very well be due to anxiety. But let us not ignore the symptoms right away.
If the pain in your leg is in the calf, it could be due to either a neurovascular cause (nerve and blood vessel) or a muscle problem. Have you noticed any change in your routine, like more walking or jogging, which might be causing the pain ?
Since your neurologist says nothing is wrong, I guess a clinical neurological examination was done. In this case, a neurological cause looks less likely.
Twitching all over the body is a well known condition called Benign Fasciculation Syndrome. BFS is known to be increased by stress and anxiety. At present, it looks like you have BFS. And the pain can be a part of the symptomatology.
Some patients have benefited from reducing coffee intake. You have to find out what suits you. Start reducing stress in your life. Please share any more thought if you feel.
