pressure behind ear and Rt lateral neck

I have been having pressure behind Rt ear and swelling to lateral aspect of neck. I feel tingling in head at times with periods of memory loss, unable to remember words when trying to speak, fatigue. I can't even write simple words when writing. I also noticed to RT side of face, tingling and sensitive to touch.   I saw  ENT  MD  and he said its all in my head. I walked out of MD office feeling very discouraged. Please help me. I have been trying to research anything to figure out whats wrong. I am a RN and I know when there is something not right .  Thanks

Hi, If your all the examination or investigation reports came back normal then these symptoms could be associated with fatigue, stress, anxiety or a form of panic attack. On the other hand these symptoms could be associated with  Cervical spondylosis or due to nerve irritation in the cervical (neck) spine because of injury/prolapse where contact between the edges of the vertebrae can cause neck pain. In few people, this pain may be referred and perceived as occurring in the back of head, shoulders, arms or chest, rather than just the neck. Please consult a neurologist for a detailed evaluation of your case. Hope it helps.
