Thank you so much for getting back to me,  This is such an uncommon condition that i feel left in the dark.  I am allergic to sulfer and steroid medication so am taking ethacrynic acid.  This seems to be helping. It has cut the ear woshing down so it only happens once in a while. My optic nerve swelling is still there but going down.  I do get worried about the fluid build up.  Can the fluid that builds up cause heart and stroke issues?  Its so hard to find answers about this condition.  I am going to see a back surgeon in Feb about a disk that is decreasing my thecal sac by 50% im hoping that this will help with the fluid "pressure" feeling.

Most common symptoms in Pseudotumor cerebri could be headache, nausea & vomiting, and vision loss due to the raised intracranial pressure. However, obesity and other diseases could be additive factors in raising the intracranial fluid, therefore it is essential to get these factors evaluated with the doctor. Few medications may be used to reduce fluid buildup in brain and to relieve pressure. Weight loss and cessation of other drugs especially steroids may lead to improvement in your symptoms. Surgery such as therapeutic shunting to lower down CSF pressure may be required in few of the cases. Hope this information proves helpful to you.

Take Care & Regards!!!
