3 years ago I woke up with numb lip, like a beginning of Bell's palsy, I had bad coordination and bad perception of depth for weeks after. I would go short when trying to catch objects. nobody cared so I did nothing.
recently I had MRI but for a different reason and nothing showed up.
there are some details I hadn't noticed yesterday, headache and bad depth perception are symptoms of a stroke or TIA.
therefore yeah it is worth a trip to the ER or Neurologist. CT scan or MRI
He needs to go to an emergency room, as of yesterday. Make him an ultimatum. He goes to an emergency room or you go somewhere else. Quite clearly there is a possibility of a life-threatening problem, and the range of outcomes may range from blindness to quadraplegia and incontinence, as well as loss of sexual function. He is acting irresponsibly.
if it was so sudden maybe it's from an infection, probably viral.
his cognitive functions might have been slowed down a bit too.
too early to go to a Neurologist. rather do blood tests, CBC+ESR.
test him with the Romberg's test, it will take a minute. often is linked with problems in the optical nerves.
