right elbow pain

I'm having some intense pain in my right elbow.  It's very difficult to raise objects vertically.  Also, the pain in my elbow is constant. Sleeping on my right side is normal, so I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it. I am 43, in very good health and type moderately.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

what does a Neurologist do?

Hi.

Do you have pain in your wrist or hand as well? How about pain at the neck or shoulder?

Your symptoms suggest a nerve impingement which is causing the intense pain at your elbow. The compression could occur at any point along the nerve tract from the cervical vertebrae to the elbow.

You should consult a neurologist to evaluate your symptoms.

Good luck.
