small vessel ischemic changes

My MRI report states: The ventricles and the cortical sulci are slightly prominent:  On T2 weighedand flair images, there a few small focal areas of increased signal intensity involving parietal white matter bilaterally. Smallvessel ischemic changes  are suspect.
I'am a 67 year old breast cancer patient.  Loss of balance, daily headaches of migraine intensity. Sore muscles, back pain etc.

Hi there. . Minimal microvascular ischemic disease or small vessel ischemic disease is also called white matter disease and is usually a MRI or CT scan finding.  It is an impact of other chronic diseases on brain’s white matter, unlike a disease of the brain itself, usually happens during progression of certain conditions like diabetes and hypertension. This disease places a patient at increased risk of having a stroke so appropriate life style measures need to be inculcated.  another similar appearing demyelinating lesion called multiple sclerosis also needs to be ruled out.Take care.

Thanks for your information. It also states on my MRI, NO CONTRAST ENHANCING LESIONS AND NO AREAS OF CONTRAST ENHANCEMENT WITHIN THE BRAIN ARE NOTED. So is it safe to say that I do not have the DEMYELINATING LESION CALLED MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS????  My BP runs around 134/70. I don't think I have diabetes but will get it checked out.
Thank you so very much.
