traumatic brain injury

A very heavy metal lamp fell on my son when he was around 3 years old.  I did not see it happen.  He obviously pulled the cord and it fell off a side table.  Although it was heavy it didn't have far to fall, but it did knock his two front teeth severely.  One was loose and eventually turned slightly black, but did not fall out and ended up looking healthy as time went on.
Could this have caused brain injury.  I was scared to death at the time having learned in school how if the nose is broken the bone can get shoved right into the brain possably causing death.  This incident  involving bone displacement - well scared me!!!  He didn't throw up so I thought all was OK.
He does at 6 years old have problems.  The seizures started at 4 years old.

he could have developed the seizures because of this incident. grand mal seizures are most commonly associated with TBI. he should go for an MRI and EEG  to rule out other damage (but I presume this has already been done). otherwise, he could have mild traumatic brain injury. some people with TBI develop few symptoms, while others have many. if it's been 3 years and no other symptoms have developed, then that's a good sign.
