twitch in chin

A few weeks ago I started having a twitch in my right cheek close to my mouth, it stayed their for about two weeks then also started in left part of chin. It has seem to have quit in my cheek but will not go away in my chin. It does not present pain and some days it seems more active than other days. I have had some allergies that may be causes it but I would like to maybe know if someone had ever had this problem and what might help clear it up.

I have been having a nerve twitch in my chin for about two months now. There is no pain. Sometimes there is a little numbness in my bottom lip. I have never had Bell's palsy. What do you think this might be?
Thank you.

Hi,

When you find out what is causing it let me know.  I have encountered it in my eye before but never in the chin but it has been going on for about 10 days and is like a little tic or twitch.  I think I have had it in the lip a few times but it does not hurt but just a nusiance.    ***@****

Thanks for your response. I failed to mention that the soft part on front of my chin looks very red, I don't know if this is has anything to do with it just thought I would mention it.

Hi,
It could be early symptom of minor damage of  trigeminal or facial nerve. In trigeminal neuralgia its associated with facial pain.In Facial nerve(Bells palsy) its associated with drooling of eye lid and deviation of mouth.Consult doctor to check for sensation over cheek.
Regards,
