what happens next with the shunt

My daughter is 13 years old and has been shunt dependent for the whole of her life. She has 2 VP shunts, has bi lacteral subtemporal decommpressions, has slit ventricle syndrome. This year, my daughter has had 3 shunt revisions 1 in April, 1 in October and 1 in November. Since the last operation she has had her shunt reprogrammed from 90 to 110. She has had 14 CT scans all come back with no abnormalities.
My daughter experiences severe headaches at the back of her head, is nauseous, loss of appetite and severe discomfort in her abdomen just under her shunt wound incision. Yesterday she had a shunt series done in hospital and the Dr explained it looked normal. She was also swabbed on the wound on her head as when she bathes the wound comes open a little and has yellow scabs along a quater of the shunt tract but she presents with no temperature/fever.
A MDT is going to be held on monday to discuss some cases and she is one of them, it was mentioned that y daughter has some ICP monitoring done for a few days to measure the pressures, she has had this done before and it prooved that she was overdraining....do you think this is the case now? and what other measures can be done to prevent this from happening all the time....she has reprogrammable shunts. Also is there a possibility that she could suffer a subdural hematoma if she is overdraining?????
I would just like to know what options are out there for her please!

Many Thanks

I had a niece who wen tthrough simliar issues and this is the only shunt that worked.  Ask your dcotor about a flow regulated shunt by Integra Lifescience-NPH or OVSII depending on her flow rate/age/height etc.
I hope this helps
