Brain Cancer

Good day, I was in a car accident recently and had to have a cat scan done: Unfortunately I can not recall what the doctor had said to me, but I was informed they had found, I will say for arguments sake a spot on my brain that needs to be looked  at ASAP: They have referred me to a Neurologist and I have my appointment next week: My mother and an Aunt had died of Terminal Brain Cancer, I know my mother had a Glioma can not recall the exact name of the type of Glioma: But when she was diagnosed she was/ had  Stage 4 Cancer : Is Brain Cancer hereditary? I am not going to worry about this until I have the results, but would like clarification in regards to this.

familial brain tumors exist, but as you are wisely thinking just wait for the control imaging study. And please note that CAT-Scans are not gold standard imaginary study for brain pathology, please do a brain MRI with Contrast (Gadolinium) and let me know about the result. You may also download your images to your profile then you notify me or just google my private e-mail to attach them to a message to me. Take care
