true very true ..no doubt we shall see its going to be a crazy but interesting year 2012
Yeah, I think most people already have. Whichever wing ya are.
No point is there teko they are all left wing, ..... I wont get into fights about Glenn Beck ..I think most Americans can see the truth for themselves ..
Oh no, let me count the ways! I would direct your to politifact, politico, or media matters, Im sure someone has been keeping track. All ya got to do is pick one. Tell me something truthful!
I find Glenn to tell the truth about most if not all things he has told us he has courage which is more than the rest of the mealy mouthed media has ..If you think he lies , what were the lies ? .
I too am not a fan of Glenn Beck. I've heard him tell the truth about some things. In fact, I've found him to be factual with a lot of what he says, but I also find him as the polar opposite of Keith Olbermann or that Chris Matthew. Between the 3 mentioned above, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone more extreme that them. But you also have to have some balance.
Olbermann got run off, as did Beck. Olberman found work, Beck will too.
Personally, I see it as a brilliant move by the president. By doing this, he is showing a big portion of the people that voted for him in the first place that he is "still" cool and worthy of their votes again. (It's all about the campaign now people.... ) Of course the right will do everything they can to try to expose this, and the left will do everything they can to be supportive and garner more votes on election day.
As much as I don't appreciate what this rapper has to say, it is an art form. (I personally don't get it, but then again, I also don't support this guy by buying his stuff.) I do appreciate the fact that this guy does have the rights to say what he wants in this country granted by the first amendment.
With that being said, I am not the presidents biggest fan simply because he made far too many promises on the campaign trail that he could never accomplish if he had 3 terms. (That too is politics...) I also don't like the fact that he said he was going to fix things that the last president couldn't or that he screwed up.
I also am not a big fan of the last president. I feel slightly betrayed by him. He was indeed a far bigger spender than he said he was, and was flailing real bad during the last couple of years in office with just about everything. Again, this goes back to making promises that he couldn't keep which is far too common in politics.
Beck? Is a nutcase! He is so extreme with the whole end of the world and conspiracy theory that he finally became a liability. Not to mention he lost a whole lot of sponsers over it all. So never fear, I bet as wealthy as he got off selling his snake oil, he will be around on cable or somewhere. He wont walk away from all that money willingly.
I have never heard Glenn Beck saying anything negative about America ...If anything he is positive ,he has great values as a Christian ,I would say he has helped many to see the truth. I guess a lot of history will be written about this time in America ..I am becoming more certain and more hopeful that America will retain its old values but not 'because' of Obama but 'inspite' of Obama ...like others before him he will fade way ,his fame in the fact he tried to destroy a great country and didn't succeed.
Wow, I think you could say the same thing for several others, like Glenn Beck! Talk about ones worst own enemy, he finally did it and went and got himself fired.
No one needs to critique him much anymore hes his own worst enemy , everything he does is more or less a disaster ..every policy he tries to put through is negative for America..When he is long gone that's what he will be remembered for ..his negativity about this great country. ..
The themes of his music were indeed disgraceful I think the WH was creating a little bit of chaos as usual ...They showed what kind of people they are ,birds of a feather ....lol..

Thought I would share. This pretty much puts it in perspective, and anything else that comes from fox news. Enjoy.
This has some of the lyrics quoted and what the controversy is about them:

I always found gangsta rap or in fact any music that glorified violence of any kind to be distasteful. I do know sometimes it can just be an individual song that is taken out of context though and of course song lyrics alone are not action but songs that take that kind of theme encourage young people in the wrong direction. I believe in free speech but if any musician is going to be welcomed by any politician as a guest then they should have an appropriate sense of morality which would not include these themes. I'd have to read more about the singer to find out their stance on issues in general though. There are other musicians who have taken a positive stance as regards issues of social injustice which regardless of one's political stance don't condone violence and they would be more appropriate to invite to a reception.
I heard "Common's" songs about killing cops for fun. I was not amused.
A very disheartening event.
And Im talking about them oil companies that paid no taxes and some even got a refund to go with their profits off our backsides.
Or it could be much ado about nothing, per usual. I swear can this man sneeze withouth someone criticizing how he does it? Actually if you listen to Common, he says pretty much the same types of things the tea party and gop has been crying for some time now. Good enuff for them to have an opinion but not common? And it is poetry. I like lady ga ga too and you ought to hear the rumors floating around about her, but I appreciate her artistic capabilities, not that I agree with how she pushes the boundaries. What does that make me? According to my kids, strange! I think they need to concentrate on something worth thinkin about. Like our econemy? Or how about them oil giants that get subsidies from us taxpayers, yet are making huge profits on top of our handout and basically threatening us if we stop giving it to them with reminding us they provide jobs etc. and per usual the gop agrees with em! Now that is something worth thinking about or criticizing eh?
