LOl I am a happy camper Netanyahu told Obama go pound sand, Israel will not negotiate with Hammas terrorists ..nor will it go back to 1967 borders, what a statesman he is , someone has egg on his face, wonder BiBi he wants a job here .....
And god be my witness that is what I think is going on these days and the more people speak the more I am convinced I am right. It is sooooo politics as usual and really will not matter who the players are in 2012. Nothing will be any different than it is now. I say dip all politicians and the media that has sold out to them, in a deep endless vat of oil. Then maybe the rest of us can rest in peace. LOL Obviously I jest. In case the CIA is watching me.
Anyone who knows truth and history would not have to be reminded of my post above? Would they? Or is it just another way to spread the hate? I think the latter.
well I didnt get this from FOX I was listening to the radio news and heard his speech ...then I saw the BBC today ...There is so much about it and the history of Israel that I am not even going to add anything except to Iladvocate and thats how I see it, I also know truth and history of Israel ...theres nothing to add as its too concerning for me , ...if folks want the down fall of Israel .nothing I say will change their minds ..sad ..
I just had to add this. speaking of Obamas words, do you remember?
There should be an end to the occupation that began in 1967. The agreement must establish Palestine as a homeland for the Palestinian people, just as Israel is a homeland for the Jewish people. These negotiations must ensure that Israel has secure, recognized, and defensible borders. And they must ensure that the state of Palestine is viable, contiguous, sovereign, and independent."
---George W. Bush
Remember all the right wing brouhaha when Bush said that? Oh, right, there was none.
"Parties reach final and comprehensive permanent status agreement that ends the Israel-Palestinian conflict in 2005, through a settlement negotiated between the parties based on UNSCR 242, 338, and 1397, that ends the occupation that began in 1967, and includes an agreed, just, fair, and realistic solution to the refugee issue, and a negotiated resolution on the status of Jerusalem that takes into account the political and religious concerns of both sides, and protects the religious interests of Jews, Christians, and Muslims worldwide, and fulfills the vision of two states, Israel and sovereign, independent, democratic and viable Palestine, living side-by-side in peace and security. "
--Roadmap for Peace, Phase III
Remember all the outrage from the right wing when the Bush State Department released the Roadmap for Peace which called for things to be as they were prior to 1967? Oh, right, there was none.
I THINK ITS TIME TO DROP FOX! AND GET BACK TO REALITY!
Wow, I listened to his speech and really didnt take that out of it at all. I see an approach by the pres to open eyes and make them realize that there has to be a meeting in the middleground. I think he is kind of pushing them a little to the last treaty that was made and trying to stop the madness somehow. Will he succeed, probably not. It is an effort to get them to make peace is all I see and do not in any way see how we stuck it to Israel by doing so. Last I heard we are still allies and we would still stand side by side with them. But they are not God and need to understand that just because we are their ally does not mean they can do no wrong. I doubt it will help but I applaud the effort of the pres.
Yes there are some moderates among the Palestinians but Hamas and Fatah are not among them and I am concerned that they are trying to resolve their own concerns and join with each other as they will then be a more serious threat to Israel. Also the Muslim Brotherhood which is gaining political ground in Egypt has called for an end to relations with Israel. I would be all for a change to a democratic government with the various revolts across the mid east but unfortunately it seems like the opposite will happen. I have been reading up on this in the media with caution but don't see any promising developments but much to the opposite. I would not want what occurred in Iran in 1979 to happen again on a larger scale across the mideast.
