I followed the first link but didn't find the article/information. I'm a bit nervous about Soros. He funds a lot of things that are completely anti-conservative, but he will tell you he is all for good ideas wherever they may come from. The guy has a giant ego and has referred to himself as "God-like" and has mentioned that he has an "over inflated opinion of himself".
