There is a Russian mining company that owns the majority of a mining outfit mining uranium/plutonium in Wyoming..... of course the Russians say they are on the up and up, but one would have to wonder how they even got involved with mining this stuff in the United States, wouldnt you?

The beauty of treaties like this is, it keeps the honest honest. Thats it. Bad guys will still continue to produce weapons. This is akin to gun control. Take the guns away from law abiding citizens and only the bad guys will have guns.

The treaty is a bad idea.
The number of so-called platforms will be reduced and constrained. Unfortunately the same delivery systems are used for both nuclear and non-nuclear weapons. In addition, nuclear weapons do not last forever. Our last test of one of our weapons was eighteen years ago. We will be prohibited from future testing.
With the last treaty with the old Soviet Union the United States destroyed large numbers of serviceable B-52's for example. The Soviet Union did...well nothing.
