You are right Margy, we all do.  No one can say that is a bad thing.  It's funny, cause from my perspective you are pretty far right.  I know I am so far left I am practically falling over.  But then I read your comments in the child related forums and see we do in fact have much in common.

you know i think we will always have ups and downs .. I think one thing we all have in common we care about the countries we live in , and nothing will change that ...I have seen the other side and I do get scared about a lot of issues I see ahead ..and I will admit a lot of our problems started many years ago ..

I should add to that..- perhaps this is a good time to say it.  I feel like everyone has been making more of an effort to keep it civil.  I know I have been and I feel like Margy and Teko have been too.  We all seem to get along better these days and I for one am enjoying reading other opinions more then I used to.  Ok...I know I know....but I had to say it cause it's nice.

Oh trust be, there is much instigating on every side around here. I can even admit to being guilty of it from time to time...(oh oh, my halo just broke!).  You should have been around 6 months ago...things could get downright nasty...and as I said, lot's of blame to go around.  Two topics that always get heated..politics and Islam.  The rest of the topics seem to stay pretty tame.  But I know Margy and Teko will agree with me...we have all had our share of starting things up.  What you see here is nothing!  And for goodness sake, do not offer to arm these two and put them together!  lol.  (I wouldn't touch a gun so I'm safe..haha)

Just had a thought...know what the best part is in all of this?  We can all say and feel how we do about our leaders, post it in a public forum, yet no secret police showing up to arrest us in the dead of night...isn't freedom grand??

All I know is I would trade you all Harper for Obama in a heartbeat.  Yep, I am a leftie and proud of it.  I love love your President.  Yeah, he isn't perfect but I do think he is doing his best in a very difficult time.  Harper?  You my friends are welcome to him!
