There isn't a best. All have some nutrient or energy that can be helpful, and some have some harmful qualities -- tomatoes, for example, are a nightshade and can exacerbate inflammation, and are also quite acidic, so for some people this isn't a healthy fruit. But then it contains some healthy ingredients as well, such as lycopene, though you can get that from any red food. Foods are complex. But there are foods that pack more nutrition into a small space, so I suppose you could say they're the healthiest. Spirulina, chlorrella, and blue-green algae are incredibly high in virtually everything that is healthful -- the highest quality protein, omega 3 fatty acids, extremely high chlorophyll content which mimics hemoglobin and therefore builds strong blood cells, scads of antioxidants, and cleansing properties that help remove toxins from the body. On the other hand, you can only eat small quantities of it because it attracts water. Bee pollen is another extremely rich source of multiple nutrients, and royal jelly even more so. This class of foods is called super foods because of the amazing quantity of nutrients packed into such a small space. But variety is still a key, and then you have to decide how well you digest a particular food. Broccoli and cauliflower are loaded with anti-carcinogens, but many people just can't digest them (many people mistakenly eat them raw, which makes them virtually undigestible as they contain very complex fibers that are hard to break down uncooked, and carotenoids in general are higher in cooked than raw foods. And to say fruit is bad because it contains sugar is false -- berries, as mentioned by everyone above, are super foods as well mostly due to their very high antioxidant content. Grapes and pine bark contain pycogenols, one of the strongest antioxidants known. So best advice is, live it up, variety is not only the spice of life but life itself.
Any green veggies, cauliflower, any berry (strawberry, raspberry, etc), apples, grapefruits, avocados...whether or not fruits are good or bad is debatable...is good to consume them in small quantities either in the morning, mid day snack, or preworkout.

Lots of variety is best. Lots of colorful fruits and veggies.
Pomegranates, Broccoli, Kale, Blueberries,( wild Blueberries) Blackberries, Raspberries,Tomatoes, Avocados, Brussel Sprouts, (my least favorite) and
Apples.
Green leafed vegetables are the healthiest. Fruits are pretty bad in general as they contain a lot of sugar :) potato kumara style vegetables are bad due to the high starch content
